Making less effort

Learning to play the violin as an adult has been an interesting experience for me on many levels. Not only because it's rewarding, stimulating and creative, but because it's extremely difficult to avoid making a sound like a dying cat. But with so many things in life that are not easy, we feel the need to try very hard. But unfortunately in our attempts to 'try harder' we make more physical effort than necessary and we can end up in difficulties.
