Pancake competition
Being a pancake fiend, I'm disappointed to discover that I missed the Russia and Ukraine Pancake Competition last week. Teams from both countries competed to mark Pancake week celebrations in Moscow.
The director of the festival Sergei Komin announced at a Russian press-conference "Ukraine is our closets neighbour, our sister nation. We have announced comic competition on song singing and pancake making. People from three Ukrainian cities are coming to participate in it", said Komin.
I wish I'd been there.....maybe next year. Don't you just love it?
