I've just got some new flowers for my Alexander Technique practice and they are transforming. I haven't had yellow roses before, but this vase full of broad and opening golden blooms are perfection themselves. They radiate their glow across the room and make such a warm and happy presence, I'm taken over by them. Do yellow roses mean 'friendship'? I've had several communications from people from whom I have not heard for a while, and one who I had the feeling were upset for some reason, and now all is well. Yellow roses are the bringer of good news, I discover. Or is this a happy delusion?
A fresh bouquet of flowers brings new life and energy into the room. And with each new vaseful of differing types and colour they provide an ever-changing focal point. My clients often remark. I get them from the street seller on Marylebone High Street. He's a chirpy young fellow with a ready smile....makes you want to go back and see him. So I do, every week. He gets the business and I get the flowers. He smiles at the custom, and my flowers smile at me in my practice.....they make me smile.
So with the glow of new blooms, pert, opening and full of vibrant life, I will hopefully bring enlivening cheer to all the people coming in to see me as we work on their poise, balance and ease of movement. I must get yellow or golden roses again. They do bring a lovely warmth and glow into the room. They're happy....and making me happy too.
Have a good day.
:-)
